Who am I?
My name is Rafael Costa, 28. I was born at Porto Alegre, the southmost capital in Brazil, but I’ve been living in Curitiba for more than 20 years.
As most Brazilians, I am a football (or soccer for the American fellows) enthusiast and I support Internacional, which I had to wait most of my life to see it win any important title – we were champions of Libertadores of America and Fifa Club World Cup in 2006. Unfortunately, we’ve been second on the Brazilian League for three times in the last five years. Not too much of a problem, since we just won Libertadores once again this year (2010).
I’m a Bachelor in Computer Science and I’ve been working on offshore projects for almost four years, performing work from test management to ETL to .NET. My professional experience since I graduated in 2002 also consists of a bunch of web development, specially using PHP.
However, I can say today I’m a .NET guy, with particular experience in WWF (Windows Workflow Foundation). But I still have plenty to learn – and hopefully teach.
I currently hold a Systems Analyst position at Volvo IT South America. You can take a look at my LinkedIn profile here.
